As soon as you save a round, all your fellow players that have a free OhMyGolf! account receive it automatically. Then you can still send it by email to anybody.

GPS Accuracy
GPS accuracy on the iPhone is comparable to the accuracy of a recent dedicated GPS receiver. We have mesured it and it has been confirmed on the course by our users.
On a sunny day, on a course without too much trees over the course, we mesure a 3 to 9 feet precision during the whole game.
In order to save battery, the GPS chip is deactivated when you lock the phone and when you flip to the score picker. At the beginning of the round the first localization may take up to 3 minutes. Then once you are on the course, it takes up to 30 seconds after unlock. To get fast localization, we recommend you unlock your phone about a minute before you intend to use OhMyGolf!.
Battery Life
4 hours of GPS is intense on your iPhone battery. But with a little care, it’ll manage it without a sweat.
OhMyGolf! does everything possible to save your battery life. OhMyGolf does not need to connect to internet for the whole round: maps are downloaded to the phone. Also, each time you lock your iPhone or flip to the score view, the GPS is deactivated (see GPS accuracy for more details).
To get the best battery usage, we recommend you:
- Fully charge your iPhone before you start
- Lock your phone when not using the app
- Turn off Wifi and Bluetooth if you don't need them
